Terms of
Service.

These Terms govern your use of the LifeRise website, 3-day trial, membership, coaching support, communications, and recurring billing.

Please read carefully. By enrolling, beginning a trial, submitting payment information, or using LifeRise services, you agree to these Terms and our Disclaimer.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms form an agreement between you and LifeRise. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep your contact and payment information current.

2. LifeRise services

LifeRise provides lifestyle coaching, education, encouragement, goal planning, accountability, and practical support across areas such as routines, health habits, mindset, relationships, parenting, finances, career, organization, social connection, and personal growth.

After enrollment, a representative will attempt to contact you to discuss your goals and begin a personalized game plan. Depending on your needs, availability, and program capacity, ongoing contact may generally occur one to three times per week. Specific schedules, methods, response times, and assigned representatives may change.

3. Three-day trial

Eligible new members may receive a 3-day trial beginning when enrollment is completed. During the trial, LifeRise may begin onboarding, outreach, goal discussion, and initial planning. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid membership will begin automatically and the payment method on file will be charged the price and billing frequency shown at checkout.

One trial is permitted per person, household, payment method, or substantially similar account unless LifeRise approves otherwise. LifeRise may refuse, shorten, or revoke a trial in cases of misuse, fraud, duplicate enrollment, or payment risk.

4. Recurring billing authorization

By providing a payment method, you authorize LifeRise and its payment processor, including Stripe, to store your payment credentials and charge all amounts due under your membership on a recurring basis. Charges may include membership fees, taxes, and any other amounts clearly disclosed and accepted by you.

If a billing date falls on a weekend or holiday, processing may occur on a nearby business day. If a charge fails, LifeRise or its processor may retry the payment. You remain responsible for unpaid amounts until cancellation becomes effective.

5. Membership renewal

Your membership automatically renews for successive billing periods until canceled. The price and billing frequency are those displayed at checkout or later accepted by you. LifeRise may change pricing or program features with advance notice when required by applicable law. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

6. Cancellation and 30-day notice

You may cancel during the 3-day trial before the trial ends to avoid the first paid charge. After the trial, all cancellation requests require at least thirty (30) days’ advance notice. Notice may be submitted using the cancellation method provided in your checkout receipt, customer portal, account communication, or by contacting LifeRise through the website.

Your membership and recurring payment obligations remain active during the 30-day notice period. Any payment scheduled within that notice period may still be charged and is nonrefundable except where required by law. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the 30-day notice period, after which future renewals will stop. Access and coaching may continue through any period already paid for.

7. Refunds

Except where required by law or expressly stated in writing, payments are nonrefundable once processed. LifeRise may issue refunds or credits at its discretion, but doing so in one instance does not create an obligation to do so in another.

8. Scheduling, missed contacts, and participation

You are responsible for responding to outreach, attending scheduled conversations, communicating availability, and taking reasonable steps toward your game plan. Missed calls, delayed responses, unused coaching opportunities, or failure to participate do not cancel your membership or eliminate payment obligations.

LifeRise may reschedule, reassign representatives, change communication methods, or adjust contact frequency based on member needs, staffing, safety, availability, and program operations.

9. Coaching scope and professional-care disclaimer

LifeRise is not medical care, mental-health treatment, therapy, legal advice, investment advice, tax advice, or another licensed professional service. Representatives do not diagnose or treat medical or psychological conditions unless separately licensed and clearly acting within that professional capacity.

You remain responsible for your decisions, actions, health, safety, finances, relationships, and results. Seek qualified professional assistance before making consequential decisions or when your situation requires licensed care. In an emergency or crisis, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource immediately.

10. No guarantees

LifeRise does not guarantee any particular outcome, income, health improvement, relationship result, career change, weight change, or other personal result. Progress depends on many factors, including your circumstances, choices, participation, and consistency.

11. Member conduct

You agree not to harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, exploit, record without permission, interfere with services, provide unlawful content, misuse communications, commit fraud, or use LifeRise for illegal or harmful purposes. LifeRise may suspend or terminate access for unsafe, abusive, fraudulent, or disruptive conduct.

12. Communications consent

You consent to receive service-related calls, emails, and text messages at the contact information you provide, including onboarding, scheduling, billing, account, and coaching communications. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of promotional texts by replying STOP, but service-related communications may still be necessary to administer your membership.

13. Privacy and confidentiality

LifeRise will use personal information to operate the service, communicate with you, process payments, improve the program, and meet legal obligations. Coaching communications are not protected by physician-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, or similar professional privilege unless applicable law specifically provides otherwise.

Do not send highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for coaching. LifeRise may use service providers to support payments, communications, scheduling, storage, analytics, and website operations.

14. Intellectual property

The LifeRise name, branding, website, written materials, frameworks, worksheets, graphics, and program content are owned by or licensed to LifeRise. You receive a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use materials for your own participation. You may not copy, sell, publish, distribute, or create competing materials from them without written permission.

15. Suspension and termination

LifeRise may suspend or terminate services for nonpayment, violation of these Terms, misuse, fraud, threats, unsafe conduct, or operational necessity. Termination does not erase amounts already owed. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.

16. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifeRise services are provided “as is” and “as available.” LifeRise disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, and noninfringement. LifeRise does not warrant that every representative, recommendation, or communication will meet every member’s expectations.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifeRise and its owners, representatives, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, or losses arising from decisions made based on coaching. LifeRise’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to LifeRise during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LifeRise and its owners, representatives, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful conduct, misuse of the services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact LifeRise and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.

Any court proceeding that is not required by law to be brought elsewhere will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Lubbock County, Texas. Nothing in these Terms waives rights that cannot legally be waived.

20. Electronic records

You consent to receive agreements, notices, receipts, disclosures, and other records electronically. You are responsible for maintaining a valid email address and a device capable of accessing and saving electronic documents.

21. Changes to these Terms

LifeRise may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page and may also be communicated by email or another reasonable method. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect.

22. General provisions

These Terms, the checkout disclosures, and the LifeRise Disclaimer constitute the entire agreement concerning the services. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. LifeRise’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your membership or rights without written consent; LifeRise may assign this agreement as part of a business transfer or operational change.

23. Contact

Questions, cancellation requests, and legal notices may be submitted through the contact options provided on the LifeRise website. Include your full name, account email, and the nature of your request so it can be handled promptly.

Legal review recommended: These terms are designed for the LifeRise membership model but should be reviewed by a qualified Texas attorney before paid launch, especially the billing, cancellation, privacy, dispute, and liability provisions.
